Sisal Rope

Sisal Rope is a strong, natural fibre rope with excellent resistance to sunlight. It is quite hairy which is an advantage if you require extra grip - obviously as with all natural fibre ropes, sisal rope will shrink and swell when it gets wet but will lengthen as it dries.
Sisal Rope is made from natural sisal fibres (Agave Sisalana) - plants grown widely in Brazil and Kenya. Sisal Rope has many uses including Tug of War Ropes, natural garden rope and most people will have seen Sisal used on cat scratching posts.
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT SISAL ROPE
Sisal Rope, as with all natural fibre ropes will always measure bigger than it's stated size this is perfectly normal. If your sisal rope is to go through holes it is essential that you purchase your sisal rope first and then drill holes according to the actual diameter of your sisal rope once you have received it - a larger hole will be required.
