Swedish Fid

Swedish Fids are used to aid splicing of braided ropes but work equally as well when splicing 3 strand ropes. Traditional stainless steel splicing fid with a wooden handle.

Swedish Fids can also be useful for extracting the core when splicing braided ropes.
