Swedish Fid / Sailmkers Tools

Swedish Fids are traditionally and primarily used to splice braided ropes although they are equally as useful when splicing 3 strand ropes. When splicing braided ropes they can be aid extracting the core from the rope.

Made from stainless steel and incorporating a wooden handle.
